30-Day Book Challenge

Posted on

I came across this 30-day book challenge online and, being an avid reader and aspiring writer, it seemed right up my alley. I looked into it further only to discover there are like a million versions. I decided to pick and choose to create my own list. You may consider this cheating but I did it for you, dear readers. See, a 30-day book challenge would get pretty old if all of my answers revolved around “Running With Scissors” and the Harry Potter series. So, I’ve crafted a list that should make these massive obsessions of mine come up as little as possible. They will probably be mentioned more than once, though I will try to keep the information as different and interesting as possible, but when books are THAT GOOD, they kinda deserve to control this type of challenge. I’ve also decided to make it a 31-day book challenge so that I’ll have a new post (hopefully) every day in August. Enjoy!

About Jaclyn

I’m a digital copywriter at an advertising agency- think Peggy from Mad Men but remove the print ads and add a website. Between my family, friends and job I hear a lot of interesting things. I’ve decided to share them and how they inspire me on this blog. There’s no theme or goal in mind and I promise I will not update with any kind of regularity. But hopefully whatever I do put up here will be entertaining, or entertaining enough to add to the “procrastinating at work by checking every mediocre website on the internet” list.

  1. So what exactly does the challenge entail? A book a day or something?

    • Basically each day comes with a new question about a book/author/series. I’m honestly not sure what the “challenge” part about it is- unless it’s actually blogging every single day for 30 days.

I considered making it a book a day challenge, but unless I was reading short stories, I didn’t see how I could accomplish that and keep my job.
